Can you have a bonfire anytime?

i too hate the inconsiderate people who like fires - there is one on our street that has a fire nearly every week and its sooooooo annoying and makes the house stink...why have a garden fire now anyway? recycle or compost!!!

Some people cant drive, and I cant afford to get someone to come take it all. There is too much to compost and my bin is full from all the cardboard at xmas

Anyway I was going to have a fire but kept forgetting to get a lighter :rolleyes: Now the rain is here, so I've got to wait for it to dry! Sods law

Try asking some neighbours if they need any of the wood (just assuming it's wood lol) I got rid of tons (literally, I think lol) of the stuff last year because an older guy across the road needed all the wood he could get to build a rough fence. Much less hassle than burning it, or calling someone to uplift it which I was planning on doing. Only problem is, I have no excuse not to tidy up and make use of my garden now the wood is gone lol, I love it really...

Because bonfires are fun?

I must admit though I would be annoyed if someone was having fires every week.
