Hotmail sign in problem ????

My daughter is having problems signing in to her hotmail email account.
She has not changed password but it wont let her in . tried different compters etc and all the obvious stuff.
It says if you have forgotten password to reset it or send reminder to email !!!!!
She tried to reset but it asked a security question that she doesnt even remember setting ( favourite teacher ? she never had a favourite !!!!! so wouldnt know where to start!)
Has anyone any ideas what she could try next .

most likely been hacked,set up another email with a stronger

My Ebay account is the same so I think it's been hacked (I have no idea about computers at all!)
Is it possible in anyway to be get back into my email address? I don't want to lose all my contacts. I tried to reset with the secret password but the questions in chinese???
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
