They want to take my little car which has a value of 250.00 I had just put the telephone down from my OR interview and I had 2 yes 2 different people telephoning me within 45minutes asking when the car could be collected.:mad:0

It seems totally wrong that OR's can pick and choose to take a car or not. Surely it should be regulated otherwise it's open to all sorts of abuse! Incidentally we kept our £400 Ford Fiesta but then it's a rust bucket that no-one but us would want!!0

Its not just the value of the car the OR look at. Also they take into account the fuel, insurance, tax, upkeep, and whether the car is essential. They do have guidelines to follow0

Tell them to FOAD.
Tell them they are not having it because you need it for x/y/z whatever. You need it for work,to run the kids round,to visit your elderly mother..whatever. It isnt worth taking so why do they want it?0 -
