Can anyone recommend a good low fat/low cal cookbook that has thrifty recipes in?They mostly seem to rely on expensive,out of season fruit and veg and expensive cuts of meat and fish.I love reading cookbooks,and get easily lured into making v.calorific dishes.TIA

    While waiting for a book the are some threads listed under "healthy eating" in the Cooking section of the MEGA Index that might give you a start :)
