Just got my credit report

Recieved it from Experian today, everything is as it should be except i applied and was excepted for a PO card at the end of Nov and it shows that PO made a search on that date, i have since recieved the card and done a BT and had a statement and payed a payment (although the payment has just been made so i wouldnt expect it on the report) but the CC from the PO isnt on the report yet, is there a timeframe before it will actually show up on there along with the one other CC i have?

Yes, anything up to 3 months in my experience (unless BOI only report to Equifax of course?).

BOI for current accounts only search Equifax and they may do the same for CCs so I have a feeling they only report to them

I saw a table on here but a cannot remember where and it was from about an artcle saying which companies the banks used to make there credit checks and i think the BOI/PO was Experian but i cannot seem to find the link?!

Something i've also realised is around the same time a reduced the credit limit on my other card but the report still shows it as the old figure, would this be the same 3 month rule?

There isn't a 3 month "rule".
Some lenders are quick, some are slow.

But if you ar paying for a new report then it makes sense to wait for the maximum likely period (approx 3 months) unless you don't mind paying for several or have unlimited access.

Yes, cheers exel, you're much better at searching than i am!

I guess i will leave it for a few months and i might check again to make sure details are right and payments have been registered correctly for the PO CC.
