Access to learning fund

Ive applied to the access to learning fund throgh my uni and have been told that my application has been accepted and i have to wait for a letter to tell me more. Just wondering after your application has been accepted and you are told how much you will get when is it normally paid?

I got one last year, and I got an instalment fairly quickly- I applied in October and I got it mid-November. I would have got it earlier, but I made a bank detail error on my application which I took ages to sort out
I got another instalment in January. My bf got 3 instalments with his, spread out between November and March.
I don't know if it depends on the individual uni though- we go to Portsmouth. HTH xx0
