Premium Bonds
This NS&I scheme has now got to be the worst it has ever been with regards investing in. When viewing the BBC2 and CH4 txt sites for the winners and their details etc, a few years ago the pages ran and ran. Now, for the people who have the maximum amount invested, the absence of these are profound, in other words your chances appear very much reduced.Has anyone got their views on this and better ways of investment? I'm considering pulling some or all of my money out.

yes why post in the greenfingered moneysaving area, the savings bored is more appropriate0 -
Alright everyone, my first posting in my life went to the wrong area. I must confess also that I fell off my first push-bike in 1954, yet went on to fly aeroplanes safely before retiring. I don't have the time to play with computers and forums, they are just tools to help nothing else! geoff c0

I think you'll find a place for Premium Bonds if you spead your eggs around many baskets. No commission charges, tax free "prize" money. I reckon I've had "average luck" and every now and then £50 or occasionally £100 cheque arrives in the middle of a month - delightful. I personally have had 5% return over the pasty few years although I gather the prize fund is being lowered.0

Cheers for that, will do re. spreading money around the baskets. January PB's came to nothing, but it was the ever depleting pages on the teletexts that shook me up. Over the years it was a job looking through the listing, now done with a blink of an eye.
