Buying a NEW car online?

They sure do have very cheap deals. Difficult to trust a site like that. I'm having a similar trust problem with https://www.buyanewcaronline.co.uk0

I can recommend drivethedeal.
We used them to buy a Toyota and would have no problems using them again.
Once ordered all your delaings are through the main dealer.
Only downside is dealer may be miles away - ours was 200 (!), but the car was delivered to our home.0 -
I wanted to buy an ntec from buyanewcaronline.co.uk as 2000£ off list price but having similar trust issues - Drivethedeal do not offer any discount on this ntec model. Anyone else ever used buyanewcaronline ...the parent company seems to be something called sonnauto. Nissan dealers refuse to even come within a £1000 of the website price. Can anyone help me can my car at the right target price?0

Hi, couple of years ago I bought a new car from www.happynewcar.co.uk . At the time they were the cheapest for the make/model I wanted. They source the cars from franchised dealers and the car is delivered to your home if required. They are a small family company and I found them very good to deal with. - I would definately use them again next time.0

am in the process of buying a new Clio through Dealdriver - found them through Martins recommendation on here. They do not take any money but put you in touch with a local dealer. Has saved me over £5,000 on list price and would only have cost £1000 more without scrappage. Their web site has a very good page on how they do it.

There is another way you can do this. I bought a new car in March and used the online traders to my advantage.
I knew what make, model and specification I wanted and contacted a couple of online dealers that were advertising on the Autotrader website. They very quickly sent me a quote and I was more than willing to do the deal.
However, in the meantime I decided to contact some local main dealers to see if they would match the price. I tried three who could only get within about £400 of the price, but the 4th eventually agreed - they beat the price by £10.
The deal was still dependent on a trade-in, as I couldn't be doing with the hassle of selling the old one privately. The online company had made an offer, unseen, which the main dealer matched. So the deal was done.
There is absolutely no doubt that in my case the price I bought for would not have been achieved without the e-mail quote from that company. (I used two companies, Autofinder and Buy-a-car, and produced the cheaper of the two.)0 -
I've done something similar just recently. I went to broadspeed.com and printed out their best price for a car I was after. Went to two local dealerships and one matched the price. Always worth asking, nothing to lose! I saved the £300 odd I would have had to pay to broadspeed :T0
