Stoozing - No Job!

Quick question if I may.
In December I left my employer.
I have just over £30K stoozed
I have "proper" savings which if I'm careful will last 12 months or so.
I'm not worried about finding a job in a hurry - had offers, but waiting for the right job
Am I obligated to inform the CC providers of my change in circumstances, or can I continue to make the minimum repayments and then settle each as it becomes due?
Of course I will not be applying for any new "funds" until I have a job again.
Thanks in advance

As long as you make the min payments I don't think you have to tell your CC you've not got a job.0

I'd keep quiet. Non of their business. Why tell them? As long as minimum payments are made it does not concern them. Telling them unnecessarily may be detrimental. You'd only be obliged to tell them in the event of applying for new credit which you aren't going to do until you find a new job.~What you send out comes back to thee thricefold!~~0 -

I was in a similar situation to you with a nice stooze pot building up but I had to leave my job. After my Egg card was paid up I emailed them to close the account. I got a reply to confirm the account would be closed as per my request but someone would contact me later re: this.
I received a phone call from Egg asking why I was closing the account, so I was upfront and said I was no longer working, they said did I realise that it was my anniversary month in a few weeks and explained what that meant. I asked them to confirm that the fact that I wasn't earning didn't matter and they said as long as I was able to make the repayments it was fine.
HTHThis site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!
