separate upvc or composite side panel

Options
Hi all,

Just a quick one. Can buy a composite door in b&q for £400 however it only comes with the door frame. I need to fit a side panel into the existing space also. Can i buy a separate one to fit the reminder of the gap or does it all need to be a fused unit?

Thought you should be able to then just put a cladding on the front of the join?

If so who would i get one from as there appears to be little out there for these?

thanks,

I fitted a door with a window alongside it many years ago. This was into a garage I was converting into a flat. I seem to remember that there was a channel section that joined the two frames together quite neatly. I bought it from a local upvc window and door supplier supplier. Have a chat with someone local, you will be surprised at what they can come up with, if they are any good.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
