Help still getting codec error

Where can i find a cure fore the codec COOD109B error i keep receving on trying to,play back vidio iv recorded ,Im using media player 10,the new version.

Solved one problem ,but now getting a new message codec COOD1199 ,NOT INSTALLED.? :rolleyes:

download the K-Lite codec pack from here, and run after uninstalling the other codec pack(s) you've tried - it's awesome and the Mega pack includes alternatives for Quicktime and RealMedia so you don't have to use their bloated ad-filled rubbish players.

I haven't been able to get windows media player to play anything for about a year - it suddenly refused. I tried downloading codecs from anywhere I could and it still refused.... instead I found a free dvd player that works fine without putting loads of ads up. It's only sidestepping the problem (although I'll double check all the advice here just in case), but was all i could find!

it's called VLC media player and you can get it from download.com:

tryed this ,but lost all sound?.so had to delete.
