    The way I see it, and from what I've read, all the manufacturers and banks keep moaning about the situation and the BoE cuts the rate.
    They moan some more, the rates go down again...
    Is it any wonder that there aren't any good news published (apart from Sainsbury's increased sales)? The BoE is just pampering these moaners without looking at the reality!!! :mad:

    (ok, I may be exaggerating, but I'm really really annoyed --> and this is definitely not making me spend money, there!)

    oh dear, i'll have to put more money into my savings account now to offset the IR reduction and get towards a goal of house deposit, campervan etc.

    I'll spend even less on the useless stuff in the world and not watch any adverts.

    Is this what they intended the reaction to be?
