£99 pm elec, 1 bed flat!??! Help!

check your meter, our economy 7 meter has off peak times set to economy 10 times. We were using electric when we thought it was off peak but it wasnt. Now we know the off peak times it works better for us, as we are getting off peak time 1-4pm 8-10pm and 12-?am at econoy7 rates which is cheaper than economy ten. We told the electric company and they changed the meter, to one which is set the same! I wonder how many peoples meters are set wrong without them realising, which will cost them more if they dont know. We found out by watching when the 2nd rate kicks in on the meter. We have a 1 bed flat, all electric,hot water, two fish tanks, fridge freezer, washer,dryer,tv's pc, cooker and microwave,as well as one storage heater we use when we need it, etc, £55 a month for the last two months. before we knew about the meter times it was £80 a month.
