Hi, Just returned one ticket for Doubt at Finchley Road for tonight for anyone interested. Check out https://www.screenbookings.com and booking code is on other msg board. Thanks0

Oh dear,
I think the Doubt screenings will be particularly empty tonight. I am still snowed in too. Roads are far too icy for me to drive on.
Upset about it really as it's one I really wanted to see.

Just back from doubt and have to say very good film, superb performances from streep and hoffman, shows their true diversity. Packed cinema with a few talkers but very good and let you feeling exactly how the title promises, in doubt0

just back from 'Doubt' too - I'm a HUGE Meryl Streep fan and typically she doesn't disappoint - I find myself hanging on every word/expression when she's acting - she truly is a great communicator in this respect.
The film leaves you wondering and doesn't coimpletely conclude - rather the viewer is left to draw their own conclusion. a little slow to begin with as it sets up the scene/story but then the pace picks up and we become like an Agatha Christie audience trying to work out what is true/false.
A think a little physical contact in the showdown scene with Meryl & Hoffman would have worked a treat (bit like Blanchett & Dench in their movie where they player school teachers - can't remember the title)
top marks - great movie ;-)you know when you're getting older - the wife says, "let's go upstairs and make love" and you reply, "I can't do both" !!0 -
Just found this http://www.myvue.com/awards/index.asp?SessionID=BD3727B57A2745178C088ABA9E8F43C3&cn=1&ci=26&ln=1&hi=662
Can anybody please explain how that's supposed to work? Do you have to pay first and IF that film wins an Oscar you'll get your money back? What do they mean by "winning ticket stub and voucher" ?????
Sorry, I don't get it!0 -

Sorry, I don't get it!
How to claim your FREE ticket
Take your winning ticket stub and voucher to your local Vue cinema, between Monday 23rd February and Friday 13th March and exchange it for a ticket to see any film showing all day Monday-Thursday and before 5pm on Friday.
A list of winning films from this year’s Oscars will be available online from Monday 23rd February.
Do they mean see one of the oscar nominated films now, if it then goes onto win, you can claim a free ticket? coz the oscars will be done on/before 23rd, free tickets r from 23rd onwards .....0
