Thanks for your reply. Sorry cant help with the paper you have to buy. That would have been my next question. I have only started back looking at this. My son went to see loads of films about a year ago but the novelty wore off. You did not have to buy the paper before as they never checked up but things may have tightened up as there were quite a few people with magazine cuttings last night but I got mine through 'seefilmfirst' so didn't need one.

Whoops just realised it is the 'SUNDAY Times' offer so I expect it will be Sunday.
Can any of the regulars please confirm if the cinemas have tightend up on whether you need the paper cutting or not?
  • You'll need to buy the Sunday Times on 28/06. And yes, they do check whether you have it, they check whether the booking number on the cut-out is the same as on your email confirmation (and take both off you).
  • Hi, i've just got the 2 tickets for Public Enemies with The Times online and wanted to know if anyone can tell me what newspaper I need to buy?

How do you find it on the site to put the code in??? Thanks

My Sister's Keeper, not one to cheer you up that's for sure. Reminded me of "The Little House on The Prairie"
Designed to make you cry. Predictable and drawn out, I'd prefer a true story instead of this contrived nonsense, but that's only my opininion I know.
I prefer my emotional sentimental slush on the sofa at home, where I can blub in peace. I'm too old and cynical I'm afraid.
On the subject of age, this film was a 12a, so why were there so many kids in the screening I was at? And I didn't appreciate the child on his mother's knee behind me kicking my seat. I had to move in the end.
I know loads will have enjoyed it, just not for me.

any child can go and see a 12A as long as they are with a parent.

I didn't cry, neither did my OH or my mum. I was just appauled they changed the ending from the book - far too generic and nowhere near as moving!

I'd say the movie is a real tear jerker if you haven't read the book, but if you have you're likely to be dissapointed.
