Thankyou all for the information given here to resolve the problems of changing from the above 'outfit'.

Returned to BT 1st Dec 2008, stopped the Direct Debit ( they tried to take the whole of Dec's rental out on Dec 15th.).

Various letters and phone calls demanding payment of figures plucked from their imaginations - conversations with people who they have trained to be liars.

Emailed ISPA ( Internet Services Providers !!!.) as recommended - no action from 'the Outfit'.

Emailed ISPA a week later to escalate my frustration ( some play on words here on the instructions - 'don't escalate unless 3 months has elapsted from the start of the dispute' - PAY NO ATTENTION TO THIS INSTRUCTION -
-DO IT!)

Rachel Kershaw (High Level Complaints Executive - as she describes herself)
telephoned a few days later - after some hard words ( I am receipt of 3 grown up daughters with serious attitude problems, so she was easy meat ) she said that although I did owe the money, they would write it off and send me a cheque for £40 for my time and trouble.

I am now in receipt of a letter from the charming Rachel confirming the above - RESULT!

If you would like a head to head with her - don't hesitate to telephone her on her private line on 0207 087 2179 (this was included in her letter at my insistance - I know from the forums that although the matter is resolved it will 'rumble on' for some time - you need 'hard copy ' confirmation, not just the usual promises over the phone) or if you don't feel that you can verbally challenge her fax on 0207 0872273, I'm sure she will be delighted to receive your communication.

Once again many thanks for all your input - consumer revenge is sweet!
