Thankyou cifpower and pink princess. I've read all of the first link, but the second isn't of interest. I'm new to posting on this site and just looking for information. There's a lot of judgement of other people's morals and motives on these boards isn't there ?0

Im unsure why my link is no good to you it follows people for nearly a year through the full process of cca .Which is what your after .
It follows fellow members of mse s cases from start to finish.Do not use a fee paying company to do this or gain info from ,it costs just £1 to do.
I suggest you read the link fully to understand it.
Or search cca on these forums for lots more links.Life is short, smile while you still have teeth0 -
There is no such thing as a local FSA. It's a scam, in the sense that these special firms take a large up front payment then review the contract. Only 10% of the contract reviews actual have a chance of going to legal review (based on BBC).0

IMO quite rightly.
When you weasel out of credit card the matter does not end there. That is an actual loss and that cost gets past onto someone else.
More and more people are finding their CC APRs increased. Some folks are now being charged over 30% pa, compared to 10 to 15% one year ago (checkout the Egg discussion on this forum). The CC companies are doing this to cover losses from people weaseling out their debts.
This is not hurting the rich of the country, this is hurting working class British families who have small balances on their credit cards.
So I think we are right to judge.0 -
Oh please!! I just asked what it was all about and thanks to the links posted by other members I have found out. But on reading the link posted by cifpower I saw some really vitriolic, nasty and personal remarks (have a look!) - hence my comments.
I am not interested in pink princess' link because I am not 'after' anything - it was just a question asked and now answered. I was considering passing on details of Martin's website to a friend who could really do with some knowledgable support - but I don't think he will find it here sadly.0 -
there is knowledge-able debt support of that part of the forum , CCCS and Payplan...head over there and read about help with resolving debt problems,Ex forum ambassador

you've hit a raw nerve on here I'm afraid , we've been getting a stream of new posters who "find" sites like this (but are just promoting them )
standard advice is to ask for the CCA for a £1 and then if they cannot supply the signed agreement there may be a case...Ex forum ambassador

I do not understand what you are saying.
If you think anything I have written is not true please say so and lets debate the issue.0
