i am going down to the council in the morning after going to the CAB as I should qualify for HB which will be a great help! it is a struggle,my OH is helping me make ends meet but enough is enough! im preparing to make a few cut-backs on non-essential items.

    im not a master at the SOA but a few things

    you can have the internet(unless its for work) will have to come out your surplus

    you can up gas electric to about £50 each

    you cant have sky cable on your form(will have to come out your surplus)

    i think other child related expenses allows £5 per week

    how many children??
    as you can up shopping i was allowed £350 for 1 adult 1 toddler 1 baby

    land line can up to £25 and down grade mobile to £25 so thats covered

    thats all i can think of at the moment but the masters will be up and about soon to tweek about abit for you

    my OH is helping atm but this has been going on for a while and its not fair on him,hence why i feel i should go BR. im going to see if the council will give me the maxmium LHA payment of £449(ish).

    SSN are you getting help with childcare costs. and checked if any other benefits you can claim for

  • SSN do another SOA with HB/CTB as if they judge sees that you are spending more than you earn he may refuse br as he will want to know how you can cope after br without credit
