I found elephant and admiral quite good for under 25 drivers.
I was 23 insured to drive a 3.0L Twin Turbo Supra, 300bhp, and it was less than 1k.
Clean license, no claims etc.
If you can put a parent on there as a named driver then that's usefull, as it will usually bring the premium down.

I would go for the ZR loads cooler, probably cost alot less if you get a 105 rather than the 120 or 160 though. But I dont blame you for wanting the 160.

As for insurance have a try with GSI Southern, I have used them for years, they will spend ages trying to get you quote down. 0800 612 9376.

There are also some other things you could try regarding changing the models you are looking for. Have you looked at the Rover 25 GTI rarer and exactly the same engine and suspension as the ZR160 but a bit more understated and I personally think cooler. think they are in a lower group too.

Maybe al go for the rover 200 Vi again same engine, they can be picked up very cheapand then build your noclaims up. If your lucky you might get a BRM, red leather and orange nose mmmmm.
