Daily Mirror - heads up for Saturday

On page 22 of the Mirror there is an article saying that from Saturday they will print 2 Morrison specific MOCs every day for a week.

These will be for different products every day and must be used on that day only, there is no more details in the Mirror atm but keeganland on HUKD has posted this -
Starting this Saturday, The Mirror are giving vouchers for a' free basket of shopping' at Morrisons.

Each day, they will print 2 vouchers, each with a different product. They are as follows:-

    Sat 10th: 4pk Salad Tomatoes (50p) & Total 2% Fat Greek Yogurt 150g (69p)

Sun 11th: Morrisons Full Roast Coffee (76p) & Clementine Handy Pack (50p)

    Mon 12th: 4 Pak Baking Potatoes (50p) & Ozkleen Kitchen Power (£3.60)

    Tue 13th: Morrisons Baked Beans 220g (31p) & Kids Apples (50p)

Wed 14th: Morrisons Tomato Soup & Morrisons Parsnips 500g (50p)

    Thur 15th: Morrisons Thick White Sliced Loaf 800g (72p) & Morrisons Carrots 1kg (50p)

Friday 16th: Morrisons Orange NAS Squash 1ltr (58p) & Savoy Cabbage

Each voucher can only be used on the day it is printed.

Also, if they sell out of any of these products, they will deduct the voucher amount from your shopping.
I don't know if this is accurate but if it is the last line is very interesting.

Thanks to keeganland on HUKD for the info

    ..........................

Think I'd just buy them at £1 for SIX available at a few local retail outlets if I wanted any.
I'm sure apart from the "speciality" incandescent ones in the fridge, freezer, oven and microwave, all other fittings are 100% energy-saving CFLs

whats the significance of the barcode beginning with a 99?

Barcodes thast start with 99 are significant as it means they should be recognised and scan in any Supermarket.

However, a coupon that says 'Asda/Morrisons/Waitrose/Sainsburys only (or whatever, in the t&cs) is not to be used in Tesco. Even though it would scan. So the 50p off Tangerines coupon is a no-no along with the one specific to The Local. The rest look potentially fine though which is great!

People on this thread are generally looking for nss coupons that will scan AND are redeemable in Tesco against any shopping (i.e. you don't have to buy the item stated on the coupon). Waitrose are the only other store that has the same policy, they will also take some coupons without worrying about whether you've actually bought the product.

There's a thread on this board about using coupons as cash, have a read and save some money in 2009!

HTH, soon I must rush out & get some copies of the Sun before they run out.

P.S. Got to echo Discodee's sentiments, I am a football fan of a lower-division club and applaud any other team that beats Manchester United. Well done Derby! :T

If anyone happens to want all of my wine vouchers (from the Sun insert, good only at the Local), I'm happy to post them. It's a long shot, but they're for £1 a piece, and I have ten of them, so anyway... :p
