Hi. I don't know if this is techie enough to go in this thread but i'll try here first. Can anyone recommend a good place to buy one of those hand free torch things that fit on your head. Ideally i want one where the 'red light' function is constant rather than flashing. I don't suppose these kinds of items will be included in the current shop sales will they??? Cheers.

In terms of value for money, this one is good - it has 2 levels of white LED, plus one green and two red (one front, one rear facing). The reds can be constantly on or flashing:

Not bad for £12.50 - my sister uses one for road running and is very happy with it.0 -
Sunday Times reviewed a few recently in the In Gear section, might be on their website...0

The Alpkit ones are good. Othe than that look at Petzl, princeton Tec or Black Diamond. It's my problem, it's my problem

I recently bought a few of these cap lamps from the 99p shop. Worth it for the CR2032 batteries alone! Very bright white light either flashing or constant.

Sorry about the poor picture, scanned it. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

This looks okay. I presume it's reasonably powerful, as i'll need it for hiking (sometimes over rough terrain) and road running in the dark.
Secondly, do you know if this company is reliable, as i'll need it to arrive by Tuesday. Thanks again.Instigated terrorism the road to dictatorship.0
