Have a footage of my brother's wedding. Have it on DVD. Here we use PA:L format while in USA they use NTSC . So my recording will be in PAL. My relatives can view it if they have a multi region DVD player.
Is there any free service on the internet like youtube where you can upload the movie and set it in a way that only family members can view it like on flickr?

I think you're confusing multi region with video encoding. Unless it's a commercially produced DVD it's pretty unlikely that the DVD is region encoded. Can your relatives not play the disc on their computer if the NTSC/PAL difference is an issue?"...IT'S FRUITY!"0

You can mark a video as private on YouTube, but your family members will need to have YouTube accounts in order to view it.0

If you want them to see it now, you can 'rip' it with; http://www.magicdvdripper.com/dvd-ripper.htm and upload it to a filsharing service, such as; http://www.!!!!!!/ if the resulting file is 300 MB or less.
If not, you can use; http://www.megaupload.com/
Once uploaded, you can send them the resulting link.
Remember to delete the link from the filehosting server once everyone has downloaded the file.0 -
I thought that flickr now supports uploading videos.. or is it picassa gallery.. one of them do!0

Copy the DVD to your PC using software as above^
Then upload it to Google video and set it to private should you wish...
https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=videoonline&passive=true&nui=1&continue=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Fvideo%2Fupload%2FStatus&followup=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Fvideo%2Fupload%2FStatus
Google allow/ long big videos to be hosted on their server for free.
Then all you need to do is send them the link.
Thats it.0 -
Flickr do video, but only for pro accounts and they can't be longer than 90s.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0
