• MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com

I wouldn't bank with any of the 'local' banks either. Have banked with www.smile.co.uk for almost nine years now and have never regretted it.

Another vote for Smile from me too, and as a co-operative bank, I think they may be less exposed to the current global banking issues as some others. Now, if they could only move into the 21st Century and allow me to download my bank statements, it'd be perfect (ironic for an "internet-only" bank, dontcha think??).
