bit more expensive...
can't find any reviews of the ones you've found, but the original price is a joke

Its annoying that there are no reviews, although I think they are similar to the iTeutel box speakers which are reviewed here :

I second that.
Acoustic Energy are TRUE hifi speaker manufacturers:idea:0 -
Thirded, I have a set of those for my PC at home and they are fantastic. They might be a little over budget, but they're well worth pushing the boat out for as they will last you for a very long time.0

I've seen a review of more expensive Prodipe monitor speakers for music production which was quite positive so they seem to know what they are doing.
I've tried the m-audio dx4 speakers and they seem quite good - you can get b-stock for about £70.

Well if your looking for speakers which can connect to your pc and any mp3 player then the creatives should be fine, ive got them and theyre excellent, they produce loud sounds and Very loud bass, great for listening to music, and they should work fine with a tv aswell i guess, as it has a mains plug and a second cable which goes into the headphone socket of any device such as mp3 or tv aswell. and the best thing is that theyre only £29 from pc world which is where i got them from!
Oops 4got to mention which model theyre Creative Inspire T31000
