villa with private pool?

can anyone tell me the cheapest place to look for a villa that sleeps 4 people with a private pool. dont care where it is but unfortunately it will have to be in august. does anyone know if james villas are any good? hoping to spend no more than £1500 for a week.

Hi, I faced the same dilemma of going this August. The cheapest alternative is a do it yourself holiday. I trawled through quite a few websites, but found https://www.holiday-rentals.com the best. We booked a three bedroomed villa in Costa Blanca for £550 for the week. Private pool, air con, etc. I telephoned the owners of the villa and they also let us arrange to arrive and depart midweek, so the flights at the moment are coming up at £607 for two adults and two children. Total cost £1357. We also plan to hire a car to explore and this will cost approx £100. So the whole package would be within your budget. The villas and flights may be cheaper depending upon where you decide to go.

When I first looked I was only searching for two bedroomed villas and couldn't find anything we really liked so widened the search to three bedroomed and hey presto.

There is another good site https://www.ownersdirect.co.uk which is worth a look.

we have just completed booking a villa, pool, car and flights....2 weeks at end of july in spain for £1800 for 4 so it should be possible. the owners are letting us do sunday to sunday so we can take advantage of some cheaper flights.

Have a look at shared pools too...sometimes you are only sharing with a few houses and the pools tend to be much bigger. When we have done this we have ended up being the only ones in the pool anyway. And they are usually cheaper than private pool villas. I know the dream is to have your own pool but sometimes they are no bigger than a paddling pool!

I tend to price flights first and see where is cheapest and draw up a short list of places to go....there is always accomodation available...cheap flights are harder to come by.

Hi.
I have been on Villa holidays for the last 5 yrs.
4 of them in Javea, Spain, Villa Alba, the other in a James Villa which could not match up to Villa Alba in any way.
It will cost you around £1000 per week in Aug but is well worth the money.
It has 5 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 3 bath, huge private pool etc etc etc.
Flights normally cost us around £120 return.
