Any alternatives to SVP??

I have been buying from SVP for about 4 years, Recently they were taken over by Bigpockets and their prices seem to have gone up. Even comparing the current prices to my last order it seems I will be paying at least 25% more.

I have tried play.com and UKDVDR, but they are fairly similar in price, and don't sell the envelopes or cases that SVP sell. Have SVP got me by the nuts right now, or are they still the cheapest out there?

I have just bought a couple of things from The 7 Day Shop for the first time in a few years.

They don't charge postage any more and their prices are quite competative...

  • I buy envelopes and DVD cases from SVP as well. That is where they really have me.

I could probably get DVD-R discs for the same price elsewhere, but there doesn't seem to be another company selling envelopes, discs and the same selection of plastic cases that SVP stock. I don't think so anyway.

I seemed to recall the same owner is one of the main importers into UK of DVD blanks etc, they have a numbers of companies so prices will remain more or less the same

I have bought from SVP for around 10 years now but I dont buy from them anymore over the last year.

I tend to buy from Ebuyer and Amazon now but bundle blanks with other orders and buy in bulk too
