Change of Halifax moneyback current account

Has anyone else had a letter about Halifax Moneyback account changes. We have been with them for about 4 years and recieved on average £100 moneyback every year. They have now changed it that you only get £5.00 every month that you have £1000 put in account , and they are now going to charge £1.00 for every day that you are overdrawn. I find that this is unfair. and the fact that they are inplementing this next month is annoying. We are seriously thinking of moving accounts, but looking at the rest they are equally as crap! Does anyone know of any 'decent' accounts?

Hey donnah, I think I have just read through about 3 threads about the changes to the Moneyback account and the new Reward Account which will replace the Moneyback in Feb. Have a look through, there may be some suggestions there for you. Would recommend popping into your local branch and get them to explain your options and if you do wish to move elsewhere still make sure you pop in to sort out your Money back earnt so far (which we have been told how to do it)!
