Dvd Home theatre sytems gone wonky

  • just wondering carrying on from this thread, rather than buying a new dvd player and plugging it through the old one just to use the amp, could we just buy a new home cinema, but use the old speakers ? ? (the speakers are carefully placed around the room, behind a fireplace etc and would create a bit of trouble removing and replacing with new) ? ?

    you shouldn't have a problem if they're standard speakers. 2 cables + & - coming out of the back.
