in Credit cards
I have and £8200 balance on a MBNA credit card (never again!!). Its been at a 0% intrest rate but unfortunately this ended last week. I called MBNA to ask if we could renegotiate the deal and they have flatly refused and the rate is now 29.9%!! The sheer intrest on the account is now £180 per month.
Despite mine and my husbands credit score being good on experian, we have both been turned down by three other lenders for a new card (to transfer the balance). This confuses me??
To make matters worse i was made redundant in Novemeber and only started a new job last week on a trail period. The pay is no were near as much as i was earning before so i know im going to run into difficulties to pay it.
My credit score will be ruined, then i wont stand a chance in hell of clearing the balance .
Any advice???

it might be best to check all three credit agencies to see if there is anything unfavourable on them.
otherwise/as well you need to consider your income and spending and see where you can make some extra leeway to make the payments
