the debenhams website is abysmal.. if it wasn't for boots it would be the worst I have ever used for a supposed 'top' retailer! :mad:0

i ordered on december 26th - order was received yesterday 7th Jan. Wrong sizes so now I have returned them and expect I will wait forever for my money back - never again.Make £2 a day challenge - doing well so far.0

I ordered 2 bridesmaid dresses from them online and they wrote to me to tell me that they only had one and had cancelled the other one. It was still on their website as in stock. Luckily my friend found one in her local store 100 miles away. I had my wedding dress from there too - I loved it and it was excellent for the price but trying to get hold of anyone on the phone to book it to try on was a complete nightmare.0

My fiance ordered me a Radley handbag and purse from the Debenhams website before Christmas. They took the money for the bag, which he received first but hadn't taken the payment for the purse. He then got told it was out of stock so he ordered me another one, when lo and behold, the first turns up the next day and the payment is taken out, along with the payment for the second purse. He was not the happiest person in the world and had to take it back to the nearest shop, which is 20 miles down the road from where he lives for a refund as it left him short of money for other things. He assures me he will never order anything from them again.Money Saving convert!!:j0

I ordered a set of pans on boxing day. Funny thing was I ended up going to the local debenhams store the day after and they had loads in stock and I was pleased with my choice when I had a quick look at them.
Anyway a week later I got an email saying they were out of stock. When I had chance to go back to the store they had all gone. Really disappointed as there was stock, they chose to sell it to others after they took my order!!!. At least i did not get charged and have to wait for a refund:j0 -
