I'm after two Nexus 80mm Real Silent Case fans and was wondering if anyone knew of a cheap store to order them from?
So far the best I can find is Kustom PC's which is £24.05 for two delivered.

Currently out of stock here

but £7.00 inc VAT each plus delivery - maybe phone them ask for an ETA for these if you can bear waiting. I would imagine there are other places cheaper than kustom PC's (They used to have a shop about 15 miles from here) and were always that few £ more expensive than the rest of the local retailers0 -
thanks, I saw them there earlier but like you said they are out of stock, I might give them a call though.
Only other place I found them instock was novatech which was around a pound more than Kustom PC's.0 -
If you are not dead set on Nexus fans then Overclockers is worth a look.
Lots of silent (and noisey!) fans at reasonable costs.

Yea, thanks. I am pretty set on the Nexus ones at the moment though. I'm going for as quiet as possible without watercooling.0 -

Thanks, these seem to be the cheapest so far at £22.91 for two inc p&p.
pretty much exactly the same price as the specialtech website (give or take a few pence) if they had been in stock.0 -
Why don't you go for these? Over twice as quiet as the Nexus (3.6dBA less) for greater airflow.

She's very reliable, does all sorts of decent fans. Used to get my Panaflo's from her, think she does Pabst now. Anyway good prices and quick/cheap delivery.
Knock them down to 7v's and you won't be able to hear them. Get some mounts too, to help reduce vibration."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -

I buy fans from dorothy. Still sells Panaflos under the new branding NMB-MAT following a merger: see here.

I've read a few users on computer forums that I post on say that they are under-rated for noise and overrated for cfm.SilenX: About as silent as the Nexus. Seemed to push a little bit less air. The specs have to be off. What really stood out for me was the brittle motor noise when compared to the Nexus. I can hear it from farther away than the Nexus fan noise. Granted, I only hear it when my ear is about 1-2 feet away. Good fan, but not worth the $22 price.
Nexus are highly rated on silentpcreview.com and Silentx use different rating methods than most other brands apparently.
Ideally I'd get some Yate Loons (rebadged Nexus's for less) but can't seem to find them in the UK.0
