Council doing surveys in my area
Comments

Just a quick thought ... If you agree to the council (or their contractors) coming into your home, do call the council beforehand just to make sure the person you're expecting is bona fide.
Criminals have been known to use bogus "surveys" as an excuse to get into properties, have a scout around and then return at a later date when the occupants aren't in.
So do make sure you know who you're letting into your home.0 -
I was sent a further letter this time offering me £10 B&Q voucher and I had my appointment on Friday afternoon.
The man sat in my living room asking things like did we have low energy light bulbs, how we might be able to get some more. Did we have energy efficient fridge/freezer? Was it 1 fridge and 1 freezer or a fridge/freezer? What fuel did we use to cook? Did we have wall cavity insulation? Did we have loft insulation? We might get lofy insulation free etc. Did we want to speak to someone who can tell us if we were getting all benefits we were entitled to? He then went around all the rooms measuring them. He was only here half an hour or so. We will get a copy of his survey in about a month along with the £10 voucher (which will come in very handy:j )
