o2 customer service for mobile broadband is in Glasgow too - 0870 600 3009..
should work in Vista fine

Is that part in bold something to do with it?

OK some of your techie stuff is a bit too much for me lol... but I doubt they can say it will work if it actually can't I use the mobile broadband on a Vista laptop all the time and it works fine - can use You Tube etc...
