We need to be prepared for all sneaky tactics, so you were quite right to alert peeps - but I wonder if staff got them today, cos tomorrow is going to be The Day???
Does anyone know if this has happened before, that staff get first bite of the sweet and succulent cherry the day before the sale goes public? BTW, not knocking staff for doing this, everyone hopes for a few advantages in their job!

Yes def false alarm - went to Albion Street store in Leeds City Centre - all as normal.
Phew - I've got me eye on some Christmas tree serving plates - I will be gutted if I don't get them at £2 each. Though strangely I am not as desperate for them at the price of £4!!:rotfl::j0 -

I remember when I got my stuff in the 75% sale last year and the Sa was whinging to me that the staff don't get any speacial treatment and have to wait until their break to get stuff. (Leeds this is) It probably varies from store to store though.:j0 -

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I bought Pantene breakage defence strengthening lotion this one reduced to £1.00 in my Boots. With the 100 points this was effectively free!Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Morning all,..
Have not done any proper bootsing for a while now. I went into boots this mornign and picked up a couple of S&G Admit it sets for £2.50 each. I know that they are free with purchase of S&G stuff, but i cant justify spending £12 odd onS&G just to get the free gift.
I was cleaning my wardrobe when some pink Ted Baker sets (from last year's christmas clearance) fell out......and one of the corners hit my neck....OOUCHH.
Then i read this story http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1109168/Shopaholic-spinster-dead-3ft-unopened-goods.html and thought of my incident (more like accident?)....which now seems ominous....0 -

Hi, do the sets go through without a beep? I was thinking of getting some on their own on the self service, so would 4 sets cost £14.67 (SEL says £4.89 each, 3 would be £14.67 then get one free for spending over £12 on S&G)? Hope that works but that means £3.67 each, how did you get yours so cheap??Thanks.
