I know some stores have 75% off some baby things- remember someone was talking about a heavily reduced quinny. Wonder if that is what this poster was referring to, rather than 75% off the Xmas gifts?

Do you all remember what happened last year? we were expecting the 75% off sale to start on a monday (as some peeps said it would) I got up really early as I work mondays and went bootsing before catching my train....it was a false alarm. The following day I overslept:eek: on waking I dashed down to my local, only to find peeps had already grabbed the best bargains:rolleyes:

Look out for No7 Gentle Renewing No Grains Exfoliator. I bought this on clearance with the last lot of pinkies, but I've only just started using it this week. I've used it every day for 4 days and my skin is glowing. I really recommend this product.

Off to catch up with all the posts now.

I think I have a solution to losing things we really want out of our virtual baskets on .com. Only really works for those things that you would be willing to pay 1/2 price for although you may be waiting for the 75% sale.

For each item you have in your basket, change the total to 99. Then you will know how many are available to start with and then as they are purchased, the number in your basket will decrease. Then, if you really want something, you can buy it before it goes OOS.

I am sure that having 99 sets of Christmas tree shaped plates in my virtual basket will not mean that no-one else will be able to add them you their basket as loads of things have gone out of mine over the past few days as I have not checked out.

What do you think? would it work?

thanks melgirl. even if it doesn't work it still gives you an idea of stock levels and what is likely to disappear fairly quickly. as long as I remember to change the numbers before I pay!

im glad i havent missed it i thought boots were being very sneeky for a bit , the poster def said toys ect , they said that they got a bratz toothbrush for £2 and princess castle ect, but the person waas staff so maybe just staff got things , oh well . sorry if i made ne1 go out of their way x

Chelmsford store started today, mum works there and she got a load of toys for kids at ridicously cheap prices, bratz electric toothbrush marked at £2, pink princess castle thing, some globe toy, and other bits plus she got her discount, she said people were clearing shelfs as soon as stock was going out xx

I went out yesterday and everything was still half price even the above toys

I think they have changed a lot of the formula as it says 'new formula' (sorry to state the obvious - it is very small!) on the new boxes although the packaging is very similar - noticed a slight change in ingredients, one of the creams has lost its parabens as an ingredient. I have always been actively encouraged by the sa's to use the offers and the blinkies too so maybe mr b is not so daft - we are all buying up his old stock ready for the nice new stuff coming out:p

just like all the time delay stuff was being repackaged when the skincare vouchers were out:D clever MR B
