I'm glad its not just me, then!! I thought the Basket Fairy was playing tricks on me!! :rotfl:

I have some non-sale items in my basket (some Slimfast shakes on the 342) & every time I log on, the quantity has jumped up! At one point, it was showing 52 in my basket!! And I swear I am not touching a thing!! I keep reducing the number to 3 & updating the basket, then then next time I log on, its gone up again!! And even when they show mad numbers in the basket, the 342 discount only shows one pack (£7.** off)

Also, quite often the total order value doesn't reflect the number ordered & even doesn't change when you press to update your basket, so I thought at one point that it was going to let me order 52 packs for the cost of two, but right at the last moment, when you put your card details in, the increase kicks in! So no bargains to be had!! But a wierd glitch, all the same!!

I'm still checking my basket at intervals, just incase the sale re-starts, but I think its probably not going to happen this year! Unless they start the 90% off sale early, to repay us for the inconvenience - that would be some compensation. :p

Perhaps we should all ring Boots CS & suggest this!!

    Suzi xx

Quick question did anyone buy TMX Elmo on .com during the sale and if so for how much ? I was chargd at 50% price just wondering if this was correct

hello there. just to let you know that there were a couple of items during the 75 percent off .com sale that were only coming up at half price and this was one of them. it was easy to spot (and remove) from my basket as it had a seperate totals value to all the other stuff e.g: there were 5 things with an underlined area that showed a total of 75 percent taken off and then a few items that were then underlined with a section showing only 50 percent off. Although a little bit of maths is needed to work this out, having the 2 seperate sale deductions helped me to spot items that only had 50 percent off as apposed to 75. hth.

This is what i wrote on the other thread just incase no one saw it..... I was told by a superviser earlier that the sale will be back online but it won't be for at least 48 hours.
I spoke to the superviser at around 6pm yesterday.
“Hope is the only bee that makes honey without flowers.”
Some people only dream of angels, i held one in my arms.
    Praying this baby makes it.
  • Morning all - just managed to catch up with the posts whilst sipping my lemsip. Nasty cold - was gonna shoot off into town this morning for Bootsing but feel tooooo poorly.
My orders arrived yesterday - very pleased this is my very first ever 75% sale :j- just waiting on one more delivery which should be monday.

Sorry Broclo if I had any of those items I would gladly donate a few, but my stash has only been going really since Oct/Nov - well done for helping them out, hopefully next time round I'll have a cupboard brimming full with goodies.

Have a good one all - lets hope you get some bargains

Please tell ten friends to tell ten today! The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on 'donating a mammogram' for free (pink window in the middle).

This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exc hange for advertising.

Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know.
