Went into the Cannock store this morning and they were putting out a load of toys, mostly In The Night Garden things, with the green 342 present sticker on them

Now, they had the 75% off signs all over the place - except on the entire run of shelves where these toys were being placed. Behind theses toys were the 90% off signs, you know how they have signage placed at the back of the top shelf?

Didn't need any of these toys so I'm not sure if they were going through the tills at 90% off or if this signage was there in error. It was shelving that had been used for the 75% sale and I wondered if they were doing a new layout of full priced toys, had whipped off the 75% signs but had forgotten to move the 90% ones (thinking that perhaps they were being stored behind the 75% ones in readiness in case they were ever needed).

I thought I should de-lurk to say THANK YOU to all the people here who have provided info etc. to help me get some great bargains in the 75% sale.

I placed an online order at 3.50pm on Weds and got an email this morning to say my order is despatched and should arrive on Monday.

Also, went to my local Boots store at 9am on Weds when they opened and got a load of stuff for presents - I'm splitting it with my mum and sister as neither of them could get there or get online. So if I looked like a greedy cow with 5 bags full of stuff then it wasn't all for me, LOL!

The Boots store at Colton was practically stripped bare of any decent sale items by 10am on Thursday (when I went back for some wrapping paper for my mum). They'd a few condom gift sets and loads of the Fusion Razor/Watch sets. Just odds and sods other than that.

In total I got about £550 worth of stuff for about £140! I was shocked to see I'd paid full price for a Glitterbabes lip set at £2.24 . It was on the sale shelf but obv. not meant to be there. I don't think I'll be taking it back, though!

I was a bit daft with not splitting my big purchase to get blinkies, but the SA was a bit scary looking and even though there wasn't really a queue behind me I didn't like to ask. (Yes, I know, I'm such a novice Bootser!!)

I did get the 300 extra points though and overall ended up with three blinkies and so with those I got the R&M Foundation Sponges (5.87, paid 87p), and for free I got a P&P Cooling facial aftersun lotion and a P&P Factor 25 face cream. Both of those were on the No 7 sale shelf which it took me ages to find!

Can't wait for my online order to get here... then I can sort all the stuff out between the three of us.

In the meantime I'm back over to Boots later for a prescription so I'm going to give the Olay GWP a whirl as they had a few of those in stock yesterday. It's taken me three days on this forum to figure out how that one worked!!

So has anyone spoke to cs today? Do we know anymore about online sale? Been to 2 branches today and nothing left!!

I placed an order but didn't realise when i sumitted it that the prices had gone back up to full price.
So i got my husband to call up today & they said they won't honor the sale price
I'm gutted, i only had 5 items but they were things the kids really wanted
Tried to cancel the order but they said its gone too far (processing) & they can't cancel it.
So when it comes i'm gonna have to send it all back again, or just refuse delivery.
I'm not paying full price for items that were 75% off.
Im so not happy.

When I spoke to a male CSA on .com y'day I was advised no dates yet when online would be up & running with 75% sale but he also advised me that he had put something on the system to request an email 2b sent to me when the sale went online again... remains 2b seen if this happens...:rolleyes:

Hi I have a save £5.00 voucher when you buy any product from the ROC skincare range, (I dont use ROC and never anything in my Boots on offer for this range) if anybody would like to swap for a Blinkie. I also have 4 of the £20 boots option vouchers (other side of No7 blinkie) if anybody wants them.

Ok so my husband just called back again & the lady he spoke to said that she spoke to her senior supervisor & they said that they aren't honoring any orders at all or any items that were in the sale & went through at full price.

I'm sure i've seen people on here saying that boots have said that they will honor the sale price on the items they bought.

Has anyone whos items went through at full price been told that they will honor the sale price?

They said something about it being against their policy to do that

I know they've done some fiddling online as it will now only add 1 of certain items to your basket.

Edit: Useful to know about the full price sale thing. Was thinking of buying a few bits and then getting my money back. Looks like I shouldn't bother.
