    Hi all :)

I haven't been reading thoroughly so not sure if this has been mentioned:

Toni & Guy X-Wax Stick £8.80 each, but Toni and Guy is currently on offer at 2 for £7, and these are included. Also I had a voucher in the ACM for 150 points wyb any Toni & Guy styling product, so a saving of £10.60 and another 150 points back :T

This is working instore, I bought 2 of the wax sticks this lunchtime

These are the item I mean

The Tame It Serum at £7.82 would also work out cheaper to buy 2

September wins: £100 H&M gift card

hi everyone havent been on here for ages had bit of a terrible xmas and new year was diagnosed with cancer 3 days before xmas but this thread has kept me laughing at all your fun and antics. Dont think will be getting my order from yesturday tried to check it out 2 times and it kept crashing disapointed as only really wanted the mack truck for ds 2nd birthday. Dp went to sale yesterday in exeter and got a couple bits to cheer me up but he had no7 p&p set taken from his trolley lol. he also got the national trust booklight and radio and i must say these are really good and def worth the money. Heres hoping they reinstate the online sale soon
    :o

Hi Lollyred - Good to hear from you. What a rotten bit of timing to hear about your cancer just before Christmas.

Lots of us on this thread are in the same "club" - I too was a Lurking Guest this time last year, but have a great time now. True, I can't do everything I used to, and lack of energy, which led to lack of exercise, and boredom, led to eating the wrong things, and the medication doesn't help.

But hey! People will still come out with me for a Jolly, even if I am 2 dress sizes bigger - doesn't seem to worry them. In fact, it only seemed to bother me! And now it doesn't (well only a little bit!)

What a **** to nick the stuff out of your DPs trolley! Any time you want to PM me for a chat, you're always welcome. I may be a bit lopsided, but so what!!

My order has been dispatched...I got an email this morning. I placed the order at 3.05 am yesterday morning.

I think any orders that went through in the early part of the sale with minimal or no freezing/error messages should be pretty safe and will be dispatched quickly....

Incidentally I'm convinced that part of the problem was the multiple reservation in basket thingie. Everyone (but me) seemed to be after S&G and P&P sets and were doing things like put 99 into their basket to keep an eye on stock. The stock update mechanism seems to be the Achilles heel of .com and it's very possible that if you refreshed a basket with 99 S&G sets in it then .com would not just update that to say 60 in stock, it would look around at all the other baskets with 99 S&G sets too and just have a hysterical fit. And then all the other baskets would freeze too. And with everyone trying frantically to get through check out and the stock going out of baskets during this bottleneck was causing more errors. Etc.

.....Of course .com should be set up for the kind of traffic that should have been expected yesterday! But....

Glad your order has been dispatched. :)
No luck for me, first the dreaded error code appeared,.... then after I logged off, I couldn't even get back online to place an order.
But I wanted the P&P set and the S&G grab bag, so wouldn't have got them anyway. Maybe the 99 items in basket did effect the boots stock control system and sent is haywire, (maybe its just rubbish!). I only had 1 of each in my basket.

My local store had been cleared out by 10.30am, by a bunch of hungry locusts by the look of things.

I really wanted to try the P&P, as I felt certain it was going to make me look 20 million years younger :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
( well Gok Wan's naked ladies said it would!).

Funny how it coincides with the new blinkies...This means the night cream is now £20.50 - but I bet you, when the next GWP rolls around, it will be on a minimum spend of £21 or £22, so I can't get one with just the night cream  If it wasn't for the fact that I really like the day and night creams and serums, I would buy something else.

    Hi Buffy

I'm wondering if this is in your store only?

It's still £19.09 online, and was the same instore when I bought it Tuesday (south west)

I thought you were in Cambridge - those London prices are really spreading :rotfl: (sorry - not funny really :o )

Thankyou for your help. I bough one item with cash and the other 4 with points, how would that work.
I'd first return the one you bought with cash and see if they're happy to exchange that.

If all goes well, and the till lets you rebuy the items at 75% off, tell them you've got other items at home and would it be ok to rebuy those too.

    SL380211.jpg

I have emailed the seller to ask if maybe i could remove the patches but i have told my daughter that her rabbit is on holiday having an adventure and has been climbling mountains and swinging in trees with monkeys in he jungle so maybe the patches will add to the effect.

Thanks so much for everyones help!
    :j

Bit more background on this as i said i waited an hour for the same bus to come round the bus driver even remebered my but no one had handed in the bunny also rang the bus company searched at the bus stops too , She actually lost it on 23rd December, didn't ask about it too much to start with i guess with it being xmas and so much going on, but the last few days she has been asking for it alot so i thought i would get searching on the world wide web as its mybest option to fiding a replacement.
Maybe you could say it has had it's appendix out lol.
  • Still cannot get my order through on .com and the shelves at my local were bare! Defo think an email to CS is in order!
Mummy to a beautiful 4 month old princess! x
  • I bought some things in the 50% sale incase they weren't there in the 75% sale, do you think i would be allowed to take them back and rebuy them at 75% off, if i can do i need to phone and ask or just take them in, what do i say when i take them back if this is ok.

Yes it does depend on the SA i bought 3 things that were on 342 but got them in different stores as i wanted to take advantage of the 342 i took them back for a refund and said i wanted to pay with points instead. they were not very happy when they went through the till at 342 but still hounoured it as she said if the till accepts it then it's ok.

The store had never sold the product before and i was a little naughty saying that customer services said it was ok with them.

I too have an 50% order i want to take back and i am going to use the whole .com going down as my reason but they should love me as im not going to keep all of it so the staff will prob get it anyway.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)
Want to be fit for 30 not fat at 30
