    My husband is soooo wonderful:love:

He got up out of bed earlier than normal and drove me to the nearest bigger branch of Boots as soon as DS left for school. Did get stuck in traffic but did manage to get there for 9.20 ish.

He carried the basket for me and hunted out the bargains;)

We spent about £20 and I used some of my points:j

I did ask yesterday but didn't get a reply..... can someone tell me what things I can get for free with the blinkies??? I couldn't find many things under £5 when I had a quick look. Or could anyone recommend something over £5 to use them on?? Thank you :)

I use the No 7 wipes which are £6.50 so £1/50 after blinkie they are really good. I think there are lots of no 7 products reduced just now so may be worth just having a look to see what your store have. Remember 342 too it might work out better value depending what you buy.

    Hi all!
Finally back and having a cuppa. So glad my DS didn't wake me up at his usual time of 3.30am but instead at 5am as I might have tried all morning to buy online otherwise.
Had a fabby shop in Camberley. Firstly for those of you yet to go out. I arrived just after 8.30am and there were already few people, very civilised.

When I left they were still bringing out Sanctuary sets. They had the
    Weekend Spa retreat
    Ultimate Spa experience
    Nourishing Kyphi Indulgence
    Mande Lular escape
    Day spa relaxation
    loads of these!

    No7
Lots of P&P white cases, manicure sets, few liplicious, compacts, skincare treats, cosmetic case and Party purse.

Poor on toys and these were going fast.
Lots of JF sets and other stuff which I cannot remember!

    I bought
    2x P&P
    1x Sanctuary weekend spa retreat

    £36.69 to pay
Used double points coupon 144pts plus 144 normal pts
    Kiosk 250pts wys £30
    Mailing 150pts wys £20
    TOTAL 688pts

    Then paid points for
    2x RM travel brush set.:j
  • Went to Luton this morning. Hardly any toys but loads of gift sets (R&M, botanics, Elle, FCUK, trevor sorbie, john frieda, accessorize, fresh etc). No S&G or sanctuary or No7 (apart from night pallette). Loads for men as well. SA said not many toys going into this years sale so compared to last year it was a bit of a damp squid.
No one was buying the alcohol sets and there was a bit of National Trust stuff. This was at 10:30 when I finally convinced myself there was nothing else to buy.

Where in Suffolk are you, as theres no Olay GWP in my local store :(
  • Good afternoon all!
Went to Durham marketplace Boots this morning and got everything I wanted plus a few things I didn't know I wanted till I got there :rotfl:
It was much busier than last year but most people seemed very organised and it was all very polite, I doubt if there will be a lot left now unless there's more stock in the back. The shop was too crowded for any restocking of shelves but maybe they'll do it when there's a bit of a lull.

How many of those people were fellow MSE'ers I wonder?
Met up with the lovely bunbun2 and we were sipping our hot drinks and peeking at each others shopping by 10am, far from the mayhem.
Called in to North Road branch on the way there and the way back again, just to check there was nothing I'd missed. Not much of a selection there but pleased to find a set of fragrance minis which DD has had her eye on.
Has anyone been to the Arnison Centre today, was it busy?

Good luck to all of you guys who can't make it instore today, I hope dot com is soon fixed and you manage to get what you want.

    Hello to you all,

Hope most of you got what you wanted. I was not happy to hear the sale was on today as I work on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays but NOT TUESDAYS! Cannot take the day off as I'm a teacher!!! Don't worry peeps I'm typing this during me lunch break.

Did manage to get some stuff off the website just before it crashed and have the conformation email. However, when I kept getting the generic error on Christmas Eve my order still went through even though the message kept saying 'Generic error'.

Anyway, has anyone been to London Colney? I was wondering if it was worth popping in after I pick my daughter up from the childminders? I went yesterday and there wasn't much there.

  • Morning bargain hunters! Just got back from Southampton High Street and West Quay retail park. I was at WQ branch for 8.50am and got some Trevor Sorbie bits, 17 brush set and thats about it! Managed to womble a blinkie though. Woop!

Was at HS branch for about 9.15am and got the sewing organiser which I wanted and thats it! They did not have much NO7 in either stores. There were a couple of Botanics face things in wooden boxes but prefer the bath/body stuff. There was no Soap and Glory or Sanctuary but plenty of red Millie and Ruby boxes. Think that was about it.

Does anyone know if Fareham, Portsmouth or Basingstoke has any Botanics, Santctuary, ANY NO7 but especially the travel bags, Charles Worthington or John Frieda stuff. Thanks xxxxx
I was at Fareham at 8.30!! When i left at 9.30 they still had some Sanctuary stuff, lots of No7(not sure about travel bags though) and Botanics stuff. Fareham didn't seem too busy and a fair bit of stock. No7 cosmetic sets going very slowly 'cos colours are soo carp!!
