  • Clare-t: Take it back, and explain it was a Christmas present, and you've been away, just opened it etc etc. They can clearly see that the product hasn't been played with, and if you get any ol' toffee from the SA (1) ask to speak to The Manager, and if there's no joy there (2) phone CS.

If they say "but you bought it months ago" then you reply "well of course, I always do buy my Christmas presents early, in case they are not in stock by December". HTH

Thankd Sandra Scarlett, I'll try to take it back to a store tomorrow and see what they say.

I am not staying up tonight ...but I might set my alarm for 6am ish to have a peek in the morning!

    Yey :D

Does this mean I get to come on your magical bootsing trips?

But of course! And if you're a very good girl, you can go on the roundabout in Covent Garden, when they have it. We always do that, it's a brilliant laugh for 2 quid! :j

Hi all, can I suggest that everyone waiting up to see if the 75% off sale starts tonight pops over to Boots Refugees so the late-night non-grabbit chat won't clog this thread? :)

I am finally up to date now!

Love the poem Sandra! I really enjoy reading this thread, but it's taken me quite a while to pluck up the courage to start posting anything (don't ask why, I have no idea- just a bit shy I think) But I always look forward to coming on here to see what you have been saying, as it always brings a smile to my face. You're poems are great, you have brilliant advice, and you have a fantastic way with words! Just wanted to say that you are a credit to this site- and you brighten up a lot of people's days, so thank you very much :kisses3:

Oh my God! I feel like I've won an Oscar! You'll laugh, but I've got tears pouring down my face, reading your lovely words. First Melgirl, then you. I am truly blessed to have so many lovely friends on here. Thank you so much.

I shall now go to bed with a serene smile on my wrinkled 'ol face (well, not that wrinkled!) and hope to read of everyone's bargains tomorrow.

Bit of a wee problem Dr Fluffy. The 15th is a Thursday, methinks.
