  •:confused::confused: er, pardon? Am I going to hear my computer yelling "Get up quick, you lazy ol' woman" if I click on the above, even though I don't, actually, want to get up?

I'm dying to see what the link says, but I'm worried the Little Men Inside My Computer will activate something! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I know it might be a strange idea but as we can not possibly text everyone that is interested I was trying to think of a way and this was the only thing I could think of, if you have an e-mail alert and have your computer turn up at full volume there should be a ping hopefully loud enough to wake at least the light sleepers ( I did say it was a bit of a mad idea, but hey it's an idea all the same ) and it might just work if people would stop posting on the do not post thread

Ah well another brain cell popped for nothing

    Crazy lady!

I subscribed to email alerts to this thread and people keep posting on it - and I keep getting emails and getting excited.

Not as excited as I was when I logged in and the price of my basket was half half price - for a moment, until it kicked me off and when I signed back in again, it was back to half price.........

Don't forget your topcashback folks - and if anyone hasn't signed up already, I'd happily give you a referral, please PM me if you want to!
(Hope that's allowed - I have not posted a referral link on the thread, so I hope it's OK!)
  • I get what you were trying to do MYLITTLESISTERLOLA...

She set up a new thread, then asked people to write on it ONLY IF AND WHEN THE 75% SALE STARTED.

So if you subscribed to that thread (not this one) you'd get an email at 3am if someone posted at 3am that the sale had started.

Trouble is some simpletons keep posting on her thread now, general chat!!

It is a brill idea :) Well done for thinking it up :)

Just a shame people can not read basic english saying 'do not post', so if it is going a bit wrong atm it is not your fault as you could not have anticipated people being that daft :)

No, no!!! I'm not knocking your idea, I just want to know how does it work please? I am an Email Alert Virgin, and don't know how to enter this strange, new world.

I thought I was doing pretty well, cos when my DGDs spotted the book "How to teach your Granny to text", they said "Well our Granny taught us!" :rotfl:

So as it's obvious that I am the only one on the board who doesn't understand, could you please Help The Aged? Thank you

some people just dont get it do they...LOL...posters saying they keep getting alerts but no sale has started...eeermmm...well that'll be coz people like you keep posting...DOH!!
  • Is the No 7 mineral blusher nice as I really want to try it. :) £3 something plus gwp is not too bad plus if i buy it when i go to the 75% sale I can hopefully bag a no 7 set with voucher in and use that too. :) Isnt bootsing complicated sometimes lol, im trying to think of a way to maximise my sales bargains but still get my total spend points. Thinking of buying pantene sachets plus some sale stuff and using total spend vouchers then using pantene points plus total spend points to get more sales stuff.
