The sale might start at 2pm today like the christmas eve sale... hope all the night owls get some well deserved sleep soon.. hugs to u all xxx

On my 2nd baby feed of the night, at 4.30am, I thought I'd check the sale online. I stumbled into the lounge, half asleep, only to be tackled by not an over eager housewife high on caffine but a play gym, result black swollen little toe - broken! I wouldnt of minded (you have to make some sacrifices)but it still wasnt on! So limped back to bed. Now I am at a disadvantage and fair game at the in store sale as I wont be able to get my running shoes on! lol
I will be glad when its all over till next January! Oh just forgot, local department store closing down at the end of this month! Now that will be a rugby scrum, it sells everything!!

Do you mean the Cornmarket store? Admittedly I haven't been in since before Christmas but they definitely had SS tills then - next to where the sandwiches etc are.

 How could I have missed these?! Thank you

  • I changed my shift at work so I can go in lol. Last year however, we didn't find out till a few days into it and at lunchtime and there was still LOADS left so people shouldn't worry too much about not getting some items.

I got a good deal yesterday though - I got 3 No7 Sun Tan Kits (Can't remember the exact name) reduced to £2.93 each, went to the till and the girl said, "Oh, if you get another one you'll only need to pay an extra £1 or something" (I had the £5 voucher for No7 that you get free) so I did as she said, then she said "In fact it's 3 for 2 so you might as well take another one..." which I did. Then she had difficulty putting it through the tills and said "Och, just have them for free, they're not scanning lol". Bargain!

I also got a Dora the Explorer Laptop which is £27.93 on Argos's website for £13 so a very productive day I think!!

  • i found the frizz ease hair masks amazing on my hair, looked like id just had my hair done...even oh said unprompted that i looked like id just been to the hairdressers:p
may be worth picking up the gift boxes if they go on sale on weds, i spent 5 pound on one on boxing day so i could shove the samples in my suitcase for holiday.

havent tried the pantene though as still without a boots card due to the confiscation early this year so no points or offers for me:eek: :rotfl:

Belfast Big bootsers- Slightly behind everyone else in the country but Belfast Big Boots has finally reduced their No7 stuff! But only some of it the hydro quench, some moisturiser, some tanning stuff all on a last chance to buy stand beside the no7 counter- They have reduced stickers on them cant remember pricing. Anyone used blinkies on these??
    Thanks
