I now wnat to return a couple to my local store but my despatch note doesnt have any prices on.
Will this matter if returning to store?
Thanks in advance for your helpYou can log into your account and go to orders and this will show the prices you paid on your order , I always take this instore with me if I return anything. Fortunately once when I did this it was a good job as one item I had paid £15 for on .com went through the till as £3.75 but the price I paid was honoured. Otherwise you will only get a refund at the current instore priceThis is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. I think if you do something like this with the intent of making a gain you might not get otherwise, you go straight into the grey legal area labelled "Intent to defraud."
I'm not saying it is, and I'm not saying it would stand up in court, but I personally feel that doing anything you wouldn't feel happy about discussing with the manager after you'd been spotted doing it by the security cameras is probably a bad idea. After all, is it worth risking potential embarassment/banning/confiscation of your points card for the sake of a couple of pounds worth of Boots points? I wouldn't.....
This is what I was thinking of. I can't get my head round it. If it was a case of abusing vouchers that weren't available to all, or manipulating discount codes or the like, then I can see the black and white / right and wrong side.I honestly don't know how I'd react If I were a manager and someone were to come in and effectively pay for nothing, to take advantage of an offer? I'd think they were crazy.
I suppose it comes down to the fact is £2 store credit of more value to Boots than 2 bottles of Shampoo at cost?0 -

It has but not about black, I should have known to ask the expert
The clear gems sound nice, where do they come from?
xx
Hey hunni
You can get them from Sparkly Nailsthey are quite cheap and reasonable for delivery. Just use wet a toothpick to pick em up, jewel side up, and place on nails in any design whilst the second coat of varnish is wet....then leave to dry then place a coat of clear nail varnish over the top, and tada...professional looking nails at very little cost
Oh and I say clear but on the site they are listed as 'crystal'

Has anyone managed to get the blinkie to work with any of the 50% sale No 7 or R&M stuff? I asked & they were sure it wasn't valid, but I didn't actually try it at the till (not brave enough!)
I used my two blinkies to purchase two reduced no7 Really Revitalising Skin Spritz's priced at £5 each so no extra to pay. Not sure how much reduced from, but bargain as technically 'free' and they look and sound really yummy!0 -

Yes, this is another set of key issues. MSE is about strictly legal money saving methods and Martin could get into trouble if the site habitually discusses the greyer ways of doing so. Also newbies to the forum might get the idea that some of them were legal and normal ways of gaining goods, points and money....and the newbies are always the ones that get caught. So all in all the general principle was adopted that it was up to the individual as to what their own personal line was when it came to grey areas, but that it was better to keep the public discussion to the strictly legit.
My personal line is that Bootsing is for fun, a game and a few nice bonus items, but that none of it is worth any sort of public shame, embarassment, card confiscation, banning or legal action. So I keep my activities squeaky clean and I will never have to worry about a store manager putting my AC card into the computer and scrutinising my buying record for the last six months. Which they can do, btw. best way, really.Val.0 -
Right, I've edited my posts above to remove the details of what I'd thought about.
As I've stated above It was something that just got me thinking. I've removed the method so as not to draw anyone else into any possible dubious situations.0 -
It was SMA white cap. Baby is only 3 months old.
Thanks Liverbird thats very interesting.
Do any other bootsers go to a co-op and would mind price checking SMA white is on special offer of 2 for £12 tomorrow? Thank you all so much.
I'm afraid i chickened out of 3am duty last night as DH didn't get home until 1am from the pub and had to listen to the usual drunken chit chat from him. Did log on on my phone about 5.30 just to check but went back to sleep then.
Thinking of logging on about 5 again this morning is anyone else?
Oh and I wouldn't personally sneak things back in to the store to pay for them again but thats just me.:A boots tart and tesco chick:A0 -
