I am so angry:mad:   I was at the Swan centre Eastleigh Boots and noticed Pantene sachets went over to the till put one through fine the 100 points went on. Then, I spotted six bottles of Pantene shampoo on the side 50p a bottle yay! I took them all to the till with some other items I was buying the sa had to price correct the shampoos so instead of putting them through as Pantene he put them through as BEAUTY products and I didn't get my points  arggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhh!

    Be warned

how annoying:mad: this has happened to me in the past:rolleyes: Whenever I buy clearance products that are on some kind of offer (3 4 2 or extra points) I keep a close eye on what the SA is doing. I explain to them how you scan clearance products if I suspect they are going to be lazy and put everything through on beauty. If they refuse to re-scan the items, I say I've changed my mind and walk out.

We are regulars to boots at meadowhall,:smiley:although haven't tried the olay glitch yet. I always feel as though everyone knows what I am doing and really we are only taking advantage of the glitches, it's not a major crime.

There is quite a bit of sale stock in meadowhall, but like you said, nothing brilliant.

just go for it:D act dumb if they say anything to you. That's what I do. I'm great at acting dumb. It comes natural to me:)

BTW, if you want to know when a GWP will scan at 0.00 look out for the posters instore. In the bottom right hand corner it has the date the GWP starts and ends. HTH;)

I'm sure Mr B doesn't mind giving these away (he would've stopped the glitch otherwise), because he knows we will buy items to cover the glitch, so it's more money in his tills. I bet boots has sold lots of ladies products recently:)

In the Sunday Express, you can get a voucher for:
FREE - LOTUS OLBAS TISSUES - Coupon redemption at BOOTS

Thanks to quoia on the newspaper thread. Does anybody know how much these tissues normally cost? Also, it is probable that the cost of the tissues will still go toward your total spend to get a blinkie (if the voucher works without beeping and the SA doesn't do something funny to get it to work, lol).

hi again, sorry in advance as using internet on boyfriend's phone so punctuation will be zero. It's taking about five minutes to load a page! Very frustrating! I just wanted to repeat my question about an instore offer on ruby and millie. I'm sure i read somewhere on this site that the offer was 750 points wyb 2 cosmetics, and that they had to be cosmetics, not accessories like brushes. Could someone confirm if i am going mad? Unfortunately i have had no joy with searching on this phone! I intend to call cs in a wee while and would appreciate it if someone could get back to me also could i appeal to tin tin or Ak_BW. do you know anything about the online sale? Thanks
  • Last week (Tuesday), I bought R&M Eye tools - Folding Brow & Lash Comb and an i-Brush. Used blinkie and received 750 points and another blinkie!

Does that mean it will scan at 0.00 before and after the dates please sally?
    TIA

I am planning my first bootsing trip in 9 months or so and am getting quite excited! I can't believe I forgot how much fun it is! I just want to check before I go on the things I need to look for. Please tell me if I have forgotten anything.
Pantene sachets or minis - extra 100 points. Intend to buy these first to get a blinkie
    Olay GWP
No 7 reduced items - to use blinkie - I also have a 500 point coupon from mailing when I buy no7 p&p day, night or eye cream.
I have a 200 point coupon when I buy 2 botanics shampoos or conditioners. will this work with minitures?

What have I forgotten. I am trying to write a list so help me please!
There's a skinny woman inside me screaming to be let out. A cookie soon shuts her up!!! :rotfl:

Sorry to quote myself but I could do with getting this sorted asap. Cheers. :o
I took an item back that was on the 3 4 2 skincare on friday.
I wanted an exchange and the SA put it through no problem just by swapping it over.
However I may add it was the cheapest item costing £8.68 but I exchanged it for a cheaper one at £7.46. I didnt get a refund because this was the free item I recieved.
    Hope that makes sense.
On another occassion I wanted a refund on the 3 42 and the assistant divided the costs and only gave me a refund on the price divided by 3 !!! So I go for exchanges now .
  • Morning everyone....

im just wondering i've got a boots card but i never get a statement so i bet im missing out on lots of extra point coupons, should i phone CS and ask them why?or is there a way i can sign up for them online? Also i dont get any emails from boots either!
