Had a cracking mini-trip this evening on the way home.

    Picked up;
    1 x Mens No7 Wake Up Facewash
    4 x Sachets
    (Minus) Blinky from last night

    To pay: £5.26

It was at this point I messed up by removing my AC before the points had been added. SA asked me to put card in the machine, and in a fluster put it in the wrong way. Realising this SA then turned it round, and processed it. Checked the receipt, and said 'Oh, its still not gone through, I'll add sort it' and added the points to the card. I apologised for the confusion, and she said 'Oh hang on, you've been allocated for the customer survey as well', explaining what it was and that it was worth doing as not many people get chosen?

Anyway, it was only when I was out of the store and checking the receipts that I've seen that the first lot of points were added, as were the manual adjustment, so 808 points back on a £5.26 spend!

I've completed the survey and made sure that I heaped praise on the SA in the appropriate places. I think it could have only gone better had I won the ipod for the survey!

The 250 pts & magic 500pts voucher will work with reduced items, but only if you hand over a mimimum 1p after your £5 off voucher has been taken off. Thats the only way i could get it to work for me and SA confirmed this. By jiggling items and playing with the till.

The only reducued items it will work on are the items were the reduction is on a SEL, as some of the reductions have reductions stickers on the back of the product, if you buy one of these items and the SA has to manually put the price reduction into the till it wont work.

Also you are all referring to the magic 500pts coupon as being from 1 of the OOTW i have had 4 of the vouchers ending 3176 and i only bought 2 OOTW, so therefore they must have put some of the same vouchers in the GWP, as that is the only place they could have come from.
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

Just a quick Q about the estee lauder miniature, it doesnt state on the coupon any T&C's ie - 1 per customer, 1 per transaction etc, so if i took in 2, 1 for me and 1 for my mum would they have to give me 2 as i have printed off 2 vouchers? Save both me and my mum making a 40 mile round trip each.

Seems a bit odd for Boots to leave themselves so open like this.

Is this offer still on? I think the voucher is quite old. I used one ages ago:confused:

RE: the 75% off sale. Last year and the year before, we noticed the 50% off signs (displayed around the store) had 75% off written on the reverse side. The signs I looked at today had nothing on the reverse. I hope there is going to be a 75% off sale this year!

Set the alarm for 4 this morning but woke at 1 for a wee and decided I didn't want anything enough to get up at 4.

Had a lovely couple of shops today.

    Shop 1
Found a L'oreal pack containing L’Oreal Wrinkle De-Crease Cream - 50ml and L’Oreal Wrinkle Decrease Collagen Filler - 30ml in the clearance section for £5.50. Bought individually they'd cost £6.77 plus £9.67 (that's even with the £3 and £5 savings on those at the moment - they should be £9.77 and £14.67). Lovely saving and got a blinkie.

    Shop 2
Saw No7 Anti-cellulite Contouring Balm 200ml for £4.89 on the last chance to buy shelf. £4.89 seemed a good price and thought my legs and bum are a bit lumpy so worth spending my blinkie on. Only £2.45 when it went through the till. I got the lovely SA to check if 2 more would got through at 3 4 2 and it did. Used my blinkie and 250 points voucher. Nothing to pay for 3 bottles and 250 points on my AC.

    £5.50 well spent .

Went in another store only about 6 sale items on the shelves they were busy stocking up with suncreams. I don't know if they've sold it all, moved it to another store or if it was just in the storeroom while they stocked up the suncreams. Mystery!
