Oh Belle, thats very annoying for you. It was clearly promoted on Stallfinder s I dont quite understand what happened. HAve you contacted them?

I received this email today which might be good, although Im not sure I like the Herring Gutting bit?!

Hi All

I am helping to organise a craft fair as part of the Herring Gutters Festival in Newcastle on 9th August. I tried to transfer all the Fleadh contacts but I'm not that techy-minded so I'm cheekily emailing you all from here!

Herring Gutters is quite a different fair from others I've organised in that it is outside. Also, stall holders have to bring their own table. A pitch (about 8-10ft) will cost £15 plus a raffle prize.

If you would like more details and/or an application form please email herringcrafts@ymail.com

Kind regards

Emma Wallace

Hi! Got the email about Green Fields - disappointing. Busy sewing for Castlewellan.

Have been putting out feelers for interest in an event here in Belfast and waiting to hear back from folks..

Funkymom - meant to ask what nappy cakes are? Not sure what they are so can't say if they'd class as handmade - have you got any pics?

Craftyfox - had a look at your blog - so you make candles and crochet/sew etc? Busy!

Anyone that does make their products and who would be interested in a Belfast event - could you email me? With all the work trying to get ready for Castlewellan I won't be online much - but do check emails a couple of times a day... maurac7@hotmail.com

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Greenworks nappy cakes are basically made from baby products, mainly nappies (unused of course ;) ) muslin cloths, bodysuits etc and made to look like a tiered cake. So I do actually make a cake by hand from all these things. I don't know how to post a picture on here but you can check out my website at www dot funkybuds dot com to see some pictures.

Hi, Balance House was particularly good and really enjoyed Ulster Fleadh at Castlewellan last weekend. Am doing Lughnasa Fair in Carrickfergus castle this weekend (sunday only saturday full) anyone else about? Also a good one coming up - the Belfast Mela on last Sunday in August - kind of Bollywood festival in Botannic Gardens - details on Belfast Council web site. Anyone know of any others?
