Hi, im writing on behalf of my mother in law who had a mbna credit card, she has a £3.5K balance, each month her Min payment are around £86.00, but she pays £150.00/£200.00 each month to help clear her balance, im looking for advice as her interest varies each month, last month it was 80.00 now next month its jumped up to 101.00, is this correct should it be goin up like that, she is a 70year old lady who simply cant afford to pay 200.00 each month when there is only about 60.00 actually coming off her balance. could anyone please advise, we have contacted mnba who said they would put her interest down to 80.00 in which they did for 2 months now they have put it back up to 101.00, please help. she hasn;t used the card for at least 3years now,
Regards.
Karen
