Chelsea BS Fixed Rate closing

the Chelsea 4.55% Short Term Fixed is closing today-Wednesday and
the Chelsea 4.00% One Year Fixed is closing on Friday.
I was going to put my 1-year Northern Rock money (matures Jan 20th) into Chelsea, now looks as if I will have to withdraw most of it today, before the end date (it has of course always been instant access) to meet the deadline.

Did your application go through smoothly or is it too early to say at the moment?
I have some money due from a Northern Rock fixed rate in a few days and am considering putting it with Firstsave. As they are covered by the FSCS I can't see any problems with them.0
