We are a small charity trying to restore a historic Victorian Boat Lift at Foxton Locks in Leicestershire.
We collect used stamps to help with our fundraising - as a charity we need to raise £20,000 towards an estimated cost of restoration of £11m.
Please send any used stamps to Used Stamps, Foxton Canal Museum, Middle Lock, Gumley Road, Foxton, Leics LE16 7RA or visit our web site www.fipt.org.uk.
We also recycle clean aluminium foil and drinks cans for cash.

Why don't you contact your local schools, a quick mention by the head teacher in a school assembly works wonders. If you're a local project you'd have tons and tons to offer them in return. You could go into school history lessons and talk about your project, offer to show classes round, I'm sure you could come up with loads more. A mention on your local freecycle group, local paper and collection box in your local newsagent and Post oFfice would also be great starts as well as dropping into local offices and asking them to save their stamps.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500
