Hi, quick question, would love an answer from someone more technical than myself! I am looking to buy a new laptop from Dell's studio series (Spec below for anyone interested). My current laptop overheats at every oppertunity and is propped up on 9 tealight holders so enough air circulates that I can use it, but this isn't a very long term solution, and it can't do the graphics I want anyway despite only being 3 years old, and a very decent spec then. I already have office software so don't need this.

What I want to check is that this is going to be a quick machine capable of digital graphics work and also gaming, namely WoW and Sims3 when it comes out, as that is where my current Acer has utterly let me down, and overheats if you as much as try to play a video. There are two things I am considering upgrading, the wi-fi card and the monitor. The three wi-fi options are below, how do I know which one is best or if it is worth paying the extra £10?

Dell Wireless 1510 Half Mini Card (802.11n) add £0.00
Intel WiFi Link 5300 Half Mini Card (802.11 a/g/n) (Centrino) [add £10.00]
Intel WiFi Link 5100 (802.11 a/b/g/n 1X2) 1/2 MiniCard [Included in Price]

There is also an option to upgrade from the CCFL to a WLED screen for £50, would this be a noticeable difference? As I say I need it to do graphics as my current one can't handle the software, I do do digital manipulation of my paintings and photographs. My current laptop screen is shiny rather than the standard matt, didn't know if this was a CCFL or WLED.
